A place where students are encouraged to walk with Christ, grow in their faith, and are equipped to engage the world they live in.

KNOW. GROW. ENGAGE.

WAYPOINT Meeting Times and Environments

True North’ – Sundays @ *9:30-10:40

This class is designed for middle and high school students and includes relevant, practical teaching from a Biblical worldview.

(*All students grades 6-12 will be dismissed from the main service following our singing/worship time to go to the youth room for True North.)

Student LifeGroups– Wednesday nights from 7-8:15

This is a meeting that happens in a small group format and is a place where students can openly discuss their faith, ask questions, and be ‘discipled’ on a more personal level. These groups meet either in homes or at the church and are divided into middle school and high school aged groups and when appropriate, by gender. Email Jason at pastorjasonw@gmail.com for more info.

Other activities include Christian concerts, conferences & retreats, summer camps/service projects, etc. and are communicated through email, Facebook, and in the ‘True North’ meeting time. To get on the email list, email Jason Williams at pastorjasonw@gmail.com

Parents,

As you know, Middle and High school students often "waste" their time in a variety of creative ways, but the time they spend with our youth ministry here at CCML won't be one of them! We strive to offer an exciting and spiritually challenging atmosphere that focuses more on being process driven vs. event driven. Our driving purpose is to see a passion for Jesus grow in the hearts of each of our students. While this is a process that takes time, patience and prayer, we believe it's well worth it.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to encourage students to enter into a relationship with Christ, to grow in their faith, and to equip them to engage the world they live in.

We will do this by:

  • Keeping God’s Word central in all of our methodology and teaching

  • Enlarging students’ view of who God is and how is at work in their lives

  • Helping students be sure of their salvation and identity in Jesus Christ

  • Teaching and encouraging students to grow in spiritual maturity; we do this by partnering     with parents, who ultimately, are the strongest influence on their children’s lives.

  • Teaching students how to be firmly established in Christian faith and doctrine

  • Encouraging students to passionately embrace and pursue a Christ-centered vision for their lives

  • Encouraging meaningful engagement in personal worship, Bible study, prayer & ministry

  • Teaching them how to apply a Biblical vision for manhood and womanhood for their lives

  • Encouraging them to live courageously in the world under intense pressure to conform

  • Teaching them how to appropriately & effectively engage our culture for the sake of the Gospel of our savior, Jesus Christ

Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
