Jason, along with his wife, Susan, were charter members of CCML and have been active members of Murphy's Landing since it's inception.

 

Jason spent more than 13 years as a professional musician, educator, departmental chair, conference speaker and educational leader before accepting a position in 2008 as Associate Pastor at CCML. His duties at CCML include working with students as well as providing leadership and oversight of the LifeGroup & Connection Ministries as well as teaching the Pathway Series of classes for adults which include "Membership/What Christians Believe and Why," "GIFTED!" and "CONTAGIOUS!" as well as filling the pulpit as teaching pastor on many weekends each year.

 

When not at church, Jason can usually be found playing with his two sons and daughter, Ethan, Aidan, and Annelle, or cleaning up after Ethan, Aidan and Annelle, or talking with his wife, Susan about how they need to teach Ethan, Aidan and Annelle to clean up after themselves. In his spare time, Jason enjoys reading, playing guitar & piano, staying fit, riding his motorcycle, and hanging out with his wife of 15 years, Susan, who is a counselor in Wayne Township.

 

Jason's favorite verse is James 5:17, "Elijah was a man, just like us..." On this verse, Jason comments; "This verse reminds me that there are no 'superstar' Christians. What there is are obedient believers who, when fully surrendered to God, can be used to accomplish amazing things for the Kingdom through the power of God at work in us."
