Perry Township Schools

The Metropolitan School District of Perry Township consists of 18 schools with 14,000+ students in K-12th grades, with many families in very difficult financial situations.  CCML has chosen to partner with Winchester Village Elementary, a "high needs" school in which 240 of the 633 students are classified as English as a Learned Language and 84% of the students receive "Free or Reduced Fee" lunch.  Tutoring assistance for the large number of international families, many of whom are Burmese, is an option for the CCML church family.  Other Perry schools that can always use helping hands are Glenns Valley Elementary, Lincoln Elementary and Clinton Young Elementary.  Outreach opportunities vary by school throughout the year.
